Emotional struggles

You are welcome here.

Burnout and exhaustion, sleepless nights, anxiety, low mood and depression, or a sense that something feels off, even if you can't quite name it.

“Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us, just once, beautiful and brave.”
— Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

We begin by recognising where you are

Whatever state you are in, physical, emotional or psychological, it is real and it is valid. I recognise your suffering. I recognise that the way you have coped has had its value: it helped you survive, and it made sense at one point in your life. And I recognise that you do not want to live like this any longer.

Then we get curious, together

From there I am curious about what is happening for you, and I hope you can become curious too. I do not tell you what you should or should not do. We see together how to navigate it.

How I work

I work with both acupuncture and Compassionate Inquiry, moving between them according to what you bring. Sometimes what helps first is support and structure, something to hold what is coming up. At other times the work is with the feelings themselves.

Alongside other support

If you are already seeing a psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist or psychoanalyst, my work can sit alongside theirs. Acupuncture, Compassionate Inquiry, or the two together can support the work you are already doing. They do not replace it; they work alongside it.

A shared work

This is work we do together. It asks for your willingness to look at what is there, and I will be with you as you do.

Ready when you are.

There is no wrong place to begin.
