How this website handles your personal data.
Jonathan Shubs, Avenue Louis-Ruchonnet 2, 1003 Lausanne, Switzerland. Email: info@acupuncture-lausanne.ch. For any question about your data, contact me at this address.
I use Google Ads to make the practice known. If you agree via the cookie banner, a Google tag records whether you arrived through an ad and then contacted me or booked an appointment. It uses cookies and sends data such as your IP address to Google, which may process it in the United States (Google LLC, certified under the Swiss–US and EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Without your consent, no advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of each page.
One article on this site contains a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode. No YouTube cookies are set unless you press play; if you do, YouTube (Google) processes data under its own privacy policy.
To understand how the website is used and improve it, I use Matomo, a statistics tool installed on my own web hosting at Infomaniak in Switzerland (stats.acupuncture-lausanne.ch). No data is sent to Google or any other third party.
Matomo records the pages you visit, the time of your visit, the website you came from, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (country). Your IP address is shortened (the last two parts are removed) before it is stored, and only this shortened address is used to estimate your location.
No cookies are used for statistics, so your consent is not needed for it.
Replying to your request or arranging your appointment (steps before or as part of a contract), my legitimate interest in running a secure website, my legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used, in order to improve it (visitor statistics without cookies), and your consent for advertising cookies.
Your data is not sold, and is used for advertising only as described above.
Contact messages are deleted when they are no longer needed to answer you. Booking and patient data are kept for as long as required by my professional obligations. Technical website data is deleted after a short period.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, within the limits of the law. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, to your national data protection authority.
